Since my Fiance has been doing breakfast shift it makes it a little more difficult for me to make any cards for him. So last night I sent him upstairs to start messing around with some old Desktop PCs that we have so that I could take the opportunity to make valentines card for him.
I have recently got round to buying a raspberry board for my Grand Calibur as well as a couple of embossing folders for it - one of which is a hearts one. I decide that i would use this on some vellum for the card. I also took advantage of some DoCraft Vintage Notes toppers and sentiments, combined with paper from Me to You with Love paper stack.
For this card I used the following challenges:
- Papertake Weekly Challenge Anything Goes Challenge this had a twist to it which involved using lemon / yellow in the card... I did this using the vintage notes lemon striped button.
- Cute Card Thursday Challenge 255 which was love struck - being a valentines card i felt that this was suitable covered.
- Sketch Saturday Challenge #244 whose sketch is below gave me a lot of inspiration for this card.
So using the materials and inspiration above, here is the card that I created for my fiance.
The presents are all wrapped and card is made... so that valentines all sorted for next week. Wedding dress shopping this week and then onto the invitation making next week; hopefully i will have a time to stop by and do some challenges as well though.
